Casey and Jayson

Las Vegas Temple – We had such a great time going to Las Vegas to do this wedding.  We decided to make a little weekend of it.  We stayed at the brand new Planet Hollywood Resort and Hotel where we got a complimentary upgrade to one of the penthouse suites.  We also ate at a couple of amazing restaurants.  But the real fun and joy came when we were able to finally be at the Las Vegas Temple with Casey and Jayson and their wonderful families.  It was a bit cold for Vegas, but it was still a gorgeous day, and the wonderful couple made everyone feel warm and fuzzy.

Rosie and Stephen wedding

Salt Lake Temple – It was a very cold day, but it was absolutely wonderful.  Rosie and Stephen are so into each other.  They have so many common interests and so much fun being with each other.  They were another couple who made it very easy for us.  Very little interaction was needed between us and them, which is the way it should be.  We just loved capturing them interacting with each other.

Camille and Chris

Mt. Timpanogas Temple – Camille and Chris gave us the opportunity to shoot another wedding at the beautiful Mt. Timpanogas Temple.  It provided a wonderful setting for a wonderful couple.  The wedding was in the afternoon and we continued shooting until nearly dark.  Thanks again, Camille and Chris, for being so easy to work with and so easy to photograph.

Melissa and Jonny

Bountiful Temple – Melissa and Jonny made a cold December day very warm and very wonderful.  The time at the temple was wonderful and everyone involved truly enjoyed themselves.  The dinner at Oakridge Country Club was also wonderful.  A lot of wonderful things were said and memories made.

The Welling Family

Filed under: children, families — higginsonphotography @ 9:26 pm

Memory Grove – This was probably one of the most fun family shoots we have done.  The Welling’s are the ultimate all-American family and they are just a joy to be around.  Even Darrell, who let it be know that he doesn’t really enjoy portrait sessions, said he ended up having a great and fun time.  How could he not enjoy himself posing for us?  Actually, how could he not enjoy himself being around such a wonderful family?  Thanks again, Welling’s, for such a fun time.

Tahra

Salt Lake City – Tahra proved once again that posing comes very naturally to her.  Her bridal shoot was a breeze.  I didn’t need to do hardly anything other than sit back and click.  Plus, you wouldn’t know it by looking at her images, but it was very, very cold and she endured it like a pro.

Casey

Salt Lake – Casey is from Las Vegas and is going to school up here in Utah.  She was referred to us by a friend of hers and we are very excited about that.  We found a weekend in Salt Lake that would work to do her bridals and it went very well and we had a lot of fun with her and her sister.  Now we are looking forward to doing the wedding in Las Vegas.   Be sure and check back for high-lights from the wedding later on.

Seniors

We absolutely love doing senior portraits.  Our sessions are so much fun.  We don’t have any limits on clothing changes and we will go pretty much anywhere you want to go.  We encourage anything that helps to show the world just exactly what makes you who you are.  Below are a few of our most recent seniors.

Tahra and Jonothan

Salt Lake City - Tahra and Jonothan made doing their engagement pictures so easy and so much fun.  Most the time I have to do at least a little bit of directing as far as posing and interacting goes, but with them it came completely naturally.  I love shoots where I get to just sit back and capture and know that the end results are going to be very good.

Jones Family

Memory Grove – The Jones family is such a pleasure to work with.  They are naturally photogenic and always know exactly what they want, so it makes our job very easy.  It has been our pleasure for a couple of years now to get together with them during the holidays to do their pictures for them.  We look forward to next year.
